Teatro Carignano: The Cherry Orchard
From November 26 to December 1, 2024, the Teatro Stabile di Torino presents Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard, directed by Leonardo Lidi. This production concludes Lidi’s Chekhov trilogy, a poignant exploration of social change and the fleeting nature of the present. With a stellar cast, the production transforms the stage into a memory-laden garden, blending humour and existential reflection. A coproduction with Teatro Stabile dell’Umbria and Spoleto Festival dei Due Mondi.
Marathon Chekhov: On November 30, experience all three productions in the trilogy: The Seagull (11:30 AM), Uncle Vanya (3:00 PM), and The Cherry Orchard (6:30 PM).
