Inclusion and accessibility
Teatro do Noroeste - Centro Dramático de Viana reinforces its commitment to inclusion and accessibility, offering a series of services that guarantee a complete and enriching experience for all its spectators. The Company's shows include:
Audiodescription: An indispensable resource for people with visual impairments, audiodescription offers a detailed narration of what happens on stage, allowing everyone to fully enjoy our performances.
Tactile Stage Recognition: To make the experience even more complete, we offer the opportunity for tactile stage recognition moments before each show, giving blind and low-vision spectators greater familiarity with the space.
Simultaneous Translation into Sign Language: We believe that art should be for everyone. That's why we provide simultaneous translation in Portuguese Sign Language at various shows, guaranteeing accessibility and inclusion for the deaf community.
Subtitling: To facilitate access for people with hearing impairments and/or foreign audiences, we offer subtitling in the English language, making our shows more understandable and enriching.
By making these resources available, Teatro do Noroeste - Centro Dramático de Viana reaffirms its commitment to promoting culture for all, without distinction.
