Paradise is history. The gray of concrete, of construction sites and anonymity has settled over the cities and their inhabitants. Or has it? Staatstheater Karlsruhe talks to residents of Karlsruhe about where their paradise lies hidden. The urban gray will be greened with 12 mixed reality stations, each of which brings one of these very personal stories to the city. In this way a digital garden of stories grows in the city over two seasons.
Composer Paul Brody creates the music of the individual episodes. The libretto remains the spoken word of the Karlsruhe residents – sung, spoken and danced by the various ensembles of the Badisches Staatstheater. An artwork from the city of Karlsruhe – for the city of Karlsruhe. Paradise Found is being realized in a climate-neutral way and is fully committed to the idea of sustainability. In the broad program together with all divisions of the Staatstheater, one can enjoy a green theater paradise on the theater forecourt, join a bicycle tour along the stories through the city and much more!
