Dakh Daughters have released a new track accompanied by a music video titled Pandora’s Box. This is the first song from the band's forthcoming album.
"It is crucial for us to convey to European and global audiences that the war and the evil Ukraine is facing are not solely our problems. This is a challenge for the entire democratic world, and the responsibility for the future of our children rests upon each of us. We must unite to defeat this evil together," the band members state.
The song illustrates how Russia, by invading Ukraine, has opened a Pandora’s box for the world—unleashing dictatorship, propaganda, the illusion of freedom, and a bloody war.
This work was created as part of Antidote, a multidisciplinary project that leverages art and innovation to counter societal manipulation and build resilience in times of crisis. By exploring the psychological effects of propaganda and addressing social polarization, the project integrates cutting-edge technology, interactive performances, and educational initiatives to engage audiences and foster cross-border dialogue.
