Due to the event and travel restrictions currently in place across Europe as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Green Theatre and Green Communication seminars in Prague have been postponed. A new date will be announced later in the year.

How can European theatres communicate without producing a negative impact on our planet? Which marketing sustainable practices can be developed and implemented in public funded theatres? How can “green-working” be led from the communication department?

The next seminar dedicated to communication officers will take place from 23 to 24 March 2020 in National Theatre Prague, Czech Republic. Based on peer-to-peer learning and experience sharing, this seminar is aimed at any communication officers working at an ETC Member Theatre interested in the topic of green communications.

Grants Available

Travel & accommodation grants of up to 300€ are available. The grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one grant per Member Theatre is available.

The seminar will take place at the same time as the Green Theatre Seminar, dedicated to artistic and production teams. There will be a joint programme as well as separate sessions. Learn more about this parallel seminar here. An ETC Member Theatre can apply for separate travel grants for both the Green Communication and the Green Theatre seminars.
