The Fabulamundi community gathered at Théâtre ouvert in Paris from 19 to 22 February 2024, for a third New Voices meeting, this time on the topic of Digital Theatre.
During these four days, New Voices partners and playwrights convened for discussions and exchanges focused on digital theatre. It was an opportunity to delve into the nuances of narrative design and explore the evolving landscape of digital storytelling, while we navigate the intricacies of our narratives in the digital age.
In a workshop facilitated by the European Theatre Convention (ETC), experts Carla Meller and Harald Wolff from the Academy for Theatre and Digitality in Dortmund showcased the best practices and impulses on theatre and digitality, for the Fabulamundi – New Voices community of playwrights and partners.
On the second day of the gathering, ETC Executive Director Heidi Wiley gave a presentation on our network's work in digital theatre.
On the final part of the meeting, the community of playwrights started writing a manifesto, in a collaborative writing process, to reflect on the Fabulamundi journey.
