At a time when the whole world is speculating about the long-awaited nature of the "world after", the IMPACT Forum is taking a rather singular approach by choosing "After the world" as its subtitle.
To turn history on its head and place ourselves "after the world" goes beyond a simple transition or break with the past. It's the prospect of a major renewal, a never-ending exploration of possible futures. This new edition of the festival (the 6th) turns the spotlight on South Korea's dynamic artistic scene, in collaboration with the Seoul Performing Arts Festival (SPAF). IMPACT is an invitation to explore new artistic practices, identities and geographies through dance, theatre, performance, visual and digital arts, creating a space for hybridisation where the boundaries between disciplines and artistic practices become porous. For 15 days, with a bold programme of performances, talks and exhibitions, we're inviting audiences to rediscover their sense of wonder, to let themselves be carried away by the vibrations of sensitive worlds, and to imagine together the 'world after' as a continuous journey into the unknown, as the moving destination of our deepest desires.
