The 9th edition of Fast Forward, European Festival for Young Stage Directors, will take place from 14 to 17 November 2019 at Staatsschauspiel Dresden (Germany).
Fast Forward is considered as a platform for artistic exchange between an up-and-coming theatre generation and the local and partly international audience, comprising students, instructors, critics, young and experienced theatre makers. The festival aims to foster young talents and to initiate artistic and cultural encounters in a European perspective.
Every year, the winner of the Fast Forward Award is invited to present their work at the ETC International Theatre Conference.

Participation Conditions
Fast Forward is looking for productions that have been created either as part of a stage direction or theatre training course at a theatre academy or art college or that have been realised and performed as the first to a maximum of five works after graduation under professional conditions.
The festival covers within the realms of possibility the expenses for guest performances under professional conditions, i.e. fee, transport, traveling, accommodation etc.
