Outstanding international productions, more than ten guest performances from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and three world premieres in a single night: the 12th Berlin edition of the Autorentheatertage festival at Deutsches Theater Berlin will bring together the trends of contemporary theatre over two weeks in June 2021. For the play competition, an independent jury of experts will select three plays to be premiered on the stages of Deutsches Theater during the festival. Deutsches Theater will premiere together with the two festival partners Schauspielhaus Graz and Schauspiel Leipzig. The international prelude to the Autorentheatertage, the Radar Ost festival, will pack several exciting productions from Eastern Europe and Russia into one weekend for the first time in Berlin.
