Teatro Stabile del Veneto (TSV) is a National Theatre that seamlessly blends regional cultural heritage with national and international forward-looking innovation. With a robust presence throughout the Veneto region, TSV operates four key venues: Teatro Goldoni in Venice, Teatro Verdi and Teatro Maddalene in Padua, and Teatro
Del Monaco in Treviso, reaching a broad audience of 2.7 million residents annually. TSV's productions tour also all over Italy and abroad.
Established by the Veneto Region and the municipalities of Venice and Padua, TSV has expanded its network of shareholders in recent years to include the Municipality
of Treviso, the Chambers of Commerce of Venice, Padua, and Treviso, Confindustria Est, and Fondazione di Venezia. TSV’s collaborative partnerships span across educational institutions like the Universities of Padua and Venice, the Venice Academy of Fine Arts, high schools, and cultural organizations, including the Catholic Church and the Jewish community.
Central to our mission is the Accademia Teatrale Carlo Goldoni, which serves as a vital training ground for young actors entering both national and international
markets. The Academy is a key component of the European Social Fund’s T.eS.eO. project, focused on securing employment for young people in the cultural sector, and has benefited from Erasmus+ funding to enhance the digital competencies of emerging actors.
In addition to producing high-quality theatre, TSV is committed to fostering cultural promotion on both local and international scales through projects supported by
Creative Europe and Erasmus+. With a strong focus on sustainability and digital innovation, TSV is dedicated to nurturing local talent while also positioning itself as a
forward-thinking organization that actively engages with the global cultural landscape.
