Since Ancient Greece, theatre has been a powerful platform for debate, satire, and social reflection.
In Spring 2023, 200 European theatre representatives gathered at JK Opole Theatre in Poland for the European Theatre Forum 2023 (ETF 2023), organised by the European Commission and curated by the European Theatre Convention.
The Opole Recommendations emerged as a policy document from three days of artist talks, panel discussions, workshops, and consultations.
