For this modern reinterpretation of the ancient Greek play by Euripides, 'The Bacchaes', the well-known Czech band „Bert&friends“ joins the stage together with a choir constituted especially for the occasion by Ukrainian singers who found refuge in the Czech Republic after the Russian invasion of their country.
With the National Theatre Drama ensemble, they created a unique atmosphere and revived this Greek drama from a completely new perspective. The result is an ecstatic musical party that brings the audience to the deepest corners of their unconsciousness and makes them reflect on the role of gods and spirituality in our modern lives.
