Headed by ETC President Serge Rangoni, an ETC delegation travelled to our roadshow stop at 'Taiwan Week', between 9 - 15 April, upon the invitation of the National Theatre & Concert Hall Taipei (NTCH), as part of an international group of leading theatre programmers and producers from around the world.
'Taiwan Week' was a great occasion to present European theatre through the ETC delegation, explore the theatrical scene in Taiwan and connect with other global theatre representatives at this significant arts event.
ETC President Serge Rangoni participated in a panel discussion on 'How to integrate international partnerships and highlight shared values through performing arts?', where he presented the STAGES project.
ETC Treasurer and Artistic Advisor at Centro Cultural de Belém, Cláudia Belchior, held a talk during the Asia-Europe Exchange and Dialogue Session.
'Taiwan Week' was also a great opportunity to see the most compelling theatre in the country, opening up opportunities for transnational collaborations and professional network expansion.
A special thanks to our hosts, the National Theater & Concert Hall (NTCH), for organising 'Taiwan Week' during TIFA 2023 - Taiwan International Festival of Arts and inviting us along.
Held annually during TIFA, 'Taiwan Week' is an international platform for promoting Taiwanese performances. The Greater Taipei area's performing arts venues are extended an invitation to take part in this international platform for promoting Taiwanese arts.
