The Kosmos series tests new forms of collaboration in the theatre. This time, the focus is on young professionals.
Students from HfBK, artistically accompanied by Clemens Leander, have each worked in teams on a character from theatre literature. Their designs for costumes and make-up will be realized in collaboration with the local theatre workshops.
These can then be seen in monologues staged by assistant directors from Theater Magdeburg and members of the acting ensemble. Discussion rounds, a short film and an exhibition provide insight into the development process.
This evening will feature two monologues by female characters from Greek mythology: Cassandra (in the literary version by Christa Wolf) and Electra (in the literary version by Hugo von Hofmannsthal).
In cooperation with Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden (HfBK).
