The Kosmos series tests new forms of collaboration in the theatre. This time, the focus is on young professionals.
Students from HfBK, artistically accompanied by Clemens Leander, have each worked in teams on a character from theatre literature. Their designs for costumes and make-up will be realised in collaboration with the local theatre workshops.
These can then be seen in monologues staged by assistant directors from Theater Magdeburg and members of the acting ensemble. Discussion rounds, a short film and an exhibition provide an insight into the development process.
On this evening, Iphigenia (in the literary version by Euripides), the monologue of a female character from Greek mythology, can be experienced. In addition, Beckmann from Wolfgang Borchert's Draußen vor der Tür is probably the best-known dramatic character of a war returnee.
