ETC is happy to be welcoming new members after the upcoming General Assembly in Prague. To help them in their first steps as a new ETC Member, we are looking for “buddies” to guide them through their journey in the network. 

What is the “Buddy System”?
Launched in 2019, this initiative enables new members to get paired with an ETC Member who will serve as first onboarding contact within the ETC network. The “Buddy” is the friendly face in the crowd, to whom you can ask questions on your first day, and who will make sure you find your way through the vast offer of projects, programmes, and activities of ETC.

Of course, the arrival of the new member is coordinated by the ETC Team, who remains their first point of contact for all general network questions. The ETC Buddy is here for the fun part!

Who can become a “Buddy”?
Anyone who has been involved in the ETC network and its activities can become a buddy!

How much time does that include?
The time spent is completely up to the wish of the ETC Buddy. During physical conferences, ETC organises a short reception to start the first encounter. After this welcome event, the relationship between the buddy and the new member can grow as they want.
