The Montenegrin National Theatre (MNT) from Podgorica is the leading national theatre institution in the country with the most extensive production and a seventy-year tradition.
Its outstanding and diverse repertoire includes innovative staging of world classics and national drama heritage, contemporary texts of world and national literature, premiere performances of national plays and original projects, featuring a series of directorial poetics whilst cultivating contemporary theatrical trends and expressions.
In addition to the production of theatrical performances and other musical-dramatic works of exceptional artistic importance and outstanding repertoire, the implementation of numerous complementary activities also constitutes a priority.
