The eclectic programming of the Théâtres de la Ville strives to represent all that is performed and danced on stage to the highest quality, and respond to the needs of its ever-growing audience. With a programme focused on quality and diversity, the Théâtres de la Ville have forged a solid reputation with their international partners over the years and have been able to establish collaborations with many prestigious producing and presenting houses as well as festivals.

The Théâtres de la Ville aim to nurture the creative vitality of the national scene by actively involving local talent in international co-productions. In addition, the TalentLAB launched in 2016 has developed into a vibrant platform for emerging artists with its hybrid form between project laboratory and multi-disciplinary festival where experimenting in a safe environment is given valuable space and time.

Finally, considerable effort is invested to enable home-grown projects to tour internationally by constantly nurturing and developing partnerships with other European venues. This strategy of blending ‘home’ creations with international co-productions and strong support for emerging artists has enabled the Théâtres de la Ville to increase their visibility as a producing venue both in the Greater Region and beyond and creating ever more precious relationships with its partners.
