Culture Action Europe, the European network of cultural organisations and individuals, launched a campaign fighting for a fair and commited EU culture budget.
Stating that "Creative Europe, the main EU programme dedicated to culture, represents 0.14% of the EU total budget (2014-2020), out of which only one third (31%) is earmarked for culture", Culture Europe is advocacing for a raise to 1% of the European Union budget dedicated to culture. The ETC wholeheartedly agree with this campaign and gives its full support.
