Connecting the Separated – Reopening European Theatres
What world can we expect after the coronavirus crisis? How can theatres shape the best possible future for their houses? While it is impossible to know exactly how the post-coronavirus world will be for theatres, the upcoming ETC International Theatre Conference will aim at giving European theatres the tools to be able to respond to the situation.
Within the last weeks, ETC and its members have been actively lobbying for a safe reopening of European theatres. After gathering input from members, the conference will be the place to share best practice and explore ideas from all over Europe. And because there will be a world of creation after the pandemic, the conference will also be the place to discover new technologies applied to theatre with the special webinar “Deep Space Meets Theatre”.
The usual 4-day conference programme has been adapted to an online (condensed) format. All staff and artists working for an ETC Member Theatre (see the list here) is welcome!
Thanks to our partnership with Howlround Theatre Commons, the panel discussion “Reopening European Theatres” will exceptionally be made available as a livestream for the public!
Registration is now closed. Have you registered and are looking for the Zoom links to the conference? Contact convention@europeantheatre.eu.
