STAGES - Sustainable Theatre Alliance for a Green Environmental Shift
Discover the STAGES project & connect to partners at the parallel project forum at NTGent (Belgium) - Presentation and Q&A with ETC & STAGES Partners

STAGES is a large-scale collaboration between 14 theatre partners, who will test experimental solutions to the biggest challenges posed by the climate crisis: the carbon impact of international touring; the social and financial transformations required in theatres; and the importance of including scientists and local audiences in the artistic process.

During this hybrid session, we will connect to the STAGES project partners who are currently gathering for a STAGES Forum in  NTGent, as part of activity in Ghent & Liège (Belgium). ETC Member Theatres will get an overview of the different project elements, and can discuss first findings with STAGES Partners.

ACuTE: Culture Testbeds for Performing Arts and New Technology
A Transdisciplinary Digital Theatre Project co-funded by the European Union

Presentation & Focus Group Session with ETC Member Theatres

ACuTe is a new EU-funded project with 14 organisations (including ETC & 8 ETC Member Theatres) that aims to innovate and manifest production processes in the field of digital theater based on experiences from other sectors in a transdisciplinary way and with the help of design thinking and co-creation. It will lead to the testing and prototyping of new technologies under the three key project themes: new dramaturgies, stage design and audience engagement. This November, ACuTe starts with the first design thinking research phase (Emphasize, Define, Ideate...) that, over the course of the next 3 seasons, will lead to prototyping and testing experimental productions in 9 theaters and performing arts organisations across Europe, collaborating with universities, media artists and technology experts.
